Winter Update

Since Theo returned from Sweden, we've both been incredibly busy and have also stayed closer to home. I've been working on my dissertation, and Theo has been hard at work on his master's thesis while managing a full class load, applying to PhD programs, and preparing for his exams. And then, of course, there's the wedding!

We had a fun engagement photo shoot in Chicago, we've hung out in Indianapolis for Colts games, of course, and we've also taken a few trips up to Michigan. The second trip was for Beardie Party 2011, which coincided with Super Bowl weekend. The three bearded dragons, Irwin, Boudicca and Samurai, met for the first time that weekend. The encounter was somewhat different than we expected, as the two boys competed for Boudicca's affections. Needless to say, she was not impressed...

So this is just a short update to say that we're still here, and we're working hard. Stick around, though, because we're going to be updating soon with all the important details about our wedding. We'll also talk about participation in this year's Crate and Barrel Ultimate Wedding Contest, and we'll throw in a few more surprises along the way. Stay tuned!
